About the event
Om Shakti! All rising K-6 graders are welcome to participate in this enjoyable Math and Scratch program. We here at Shakti peetam bring together young generation and enable a platform of learning in an enjoyable way free of cost. First Come First Serve basis!
Curriculum for Math is based on the School district syllabus and per the kid's age level as well!
Please bring your own device (laptop) to create basic, intermediate, advanced level Scratch programs.
There are going to be a few takeaways, which kids can use at home to develop themselves further!
Parents are welcome to bring nut-free snacks for kids.
Math and Scratch programs will be conducted sequentially for 1.5 hours each.
For Math, the first half hour would be warm up games followed by well-defined curriculum for children and last half hour would be wrapping up of the session. In the Scratch session, children will work on 3 hands-on projects and kids will leave with their own game developed in Scratch!
